Tang Museum: Three Works of Art

All of the pieces that I am going to compare and contrast are from a different exhibit then the one I decided to describe in depth. These pieces are from the exhibit called "If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day". They are pieces of work all collected by Claude Simard, who was an artist and a gallerist. Each piece is by someone else but the way all of these pieces seem to go together and how the room was set up and just seemed to flow, worked so well. In this picture, the piece I am going to focus on are the flags hanging from the ceiling. This art piece is called "Asafo Flag". The artist is actually unknown but the origin is Ghana. As you can see the flags are made from stiched fabric, and each one is a different design. and different color scheme.
